Terms of Business

When you (the person named on the order) place an order with us we do business together under the following terms:

If this contract is concluded exclusively by means of distance communication (including but not limited to telephone, letter, fax or email), and you are a natural person acting outside the purposes of your business, the following rights will apply:

Prices

Prices can vary from time to time. The website will show one price, the lowest price we have.
If you have secured a special fixed price quotation from one the suppliers for which we act as an agent, that price will be honoured conditional on instructions being placed within the fixed price period offered by the individual supplier.

VAT

Prices shown are trade prices excluding VAT. Therefore VAT at the prevailing rate will be charged in addition at the checkout.

Payment

Goods are offered to you on a payment with order basis. Goods will not be released without payment. We accept most leading credit and debit cards. Payment by cheque may be made but goods will not be despatched until cheque clearance is secured.

Despatch

We normally despatch your goods on the same working day provided that your order is received by us before noon and the goods are standard items in stock. The goods will become your property as soon as they are despatched to you.

Delivery

We will deliver your order to any mainland address in the UK. A national carrier transports the goods and in most cases you will receive your goods within two working days. Some areas that are not on main routes may to wait a little longer. Some remote area especially in Scotland can take several days longer.

Goods Arrival

Unless you have provided written authorisation, we will always require a signature when delivering goods to you.

Avaliability of Goods

On occasions of unexpectedly high demand, items normally available off the shelf run out. Should this occur we will despatch as soon as goods are available. You may contact us to check progress if you wish.

Bepoke Goods / Goods Requiring Adaptation

Bespoke and purpose-made goods (as opposed to standard goods held in stock and requiring no adaptation) are non-returnable and no credit or refunds can be made in respect of such bespoke and purpose-made goods if cancellation instructions are received after manufacture has commenced.

Cancellation / Returns

You may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date you receive the goods. To cancel your contract you must notify us in writing at the address above. Notice of cancellation will not be accepted by facsimile or email.

If you cancel the contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk or arrange for us to collect the goods from the place where they were delivered at a reasonable time to suit us at your cost as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of notice of cancellation.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account less the charge of originally despatching the goods to you. This will occur as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition that they were in when originally despatched to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay our costs of transportation we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be reimbursed to you. Please note our return address for goods may differ from the despatch address. Therefore you should not return any goods without first establishing the appropriate UK postal address by contacting us so we may issue you with the correct information and a returns reference identification number.

Unforseen Circumstances

We will do our best should our business with you be interfered or affected by things such as strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, transport delays or even smaller matters such as power cuts.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure, which is due to such unforeseen circumstances or other situation outside our control.

Liability

It is not intended that anything in these Terms of Business should affect your statutory rights or limit our liability for death, personal injury or fraudulent representation resulting from our negligence. If there is a problem you may receive a refund or replacement under the terms of our Guarantee. Our liability to you will always be limited to a full refund of the goods purchased. We will not compensate for delivery date failures. Our liability specifically excludes compensation for indirect or consequential loss or damage however it arises and except as described above will always be limited to a refund of your payment.

Law

These and all terms of business will be interpreted and adjudicated under English law.

All prices and all carriage costs are based on UK mainland deliveries only. Additional charges apply for deliveries elsewhere. Please submit your requirements to permit us to advise the cost.
